Position Overview We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Tester to take ownership of our testing efforts across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in manual and automation testing, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering quality software. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of testers across manual and automated testing efforts. Define and implement test strategies, plans, and processes to ensure product quality. Oversee test case design, execution, and defect tracking. Review and improve test automation frameworks; guide scripting best practices. Coordinate with development, product, and QA teams to ensure seamless testing integration. Conduct root cause analysis of defects and drive corrective actions. Monitor and report key QA metrics like defect densities and open defect counts. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases. Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies and tools. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a lead role . Expertise in both manual and automation testing. Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium , TestNG , QTP , etc. Experience with API testing tools like Postman , SoapUI , or similar. Strong understanding of SDLC , Agile methodologies, and testing best practices. Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Solid scripting/programming knowledge in Java , Python , or JavaScript . Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
