About Role:

We're seeking an exceptional Lead Engineer to spearhead the development of cutting-edge bank technology platform components for our enterprise SaaS platform. You'll lead a team of 4-6 engineers in building scalable, secure, and AI-powered financial technology solutions that serve small- to medium sized banks and credit unions clients at scale. This role requires a unique blend of technical excellence, leadership acumen, and an obsessive passion for complex distributed systems, AI and agentic technologies.

1.  Work with cutting edge AI development agents like Cursor, Gemini, and Claude Code to transform how software is written.  
2.  Build complex distributed systems capable of handling millions of secure banking transactions daily using Golang and Java.
3.  Integrate financial transaction systems with Databricks and Data Mesh for real time analytics and insights.  
4.  Contribute to enterprise-grade platform components and mission-critical infrastructure from day one.  
5.  Develop technology that empowers community banks and credit unions to compete with the largest financial institutions.  
6.  Design and implement systems that directly impact financial wellness for everyday people.  
7.  Engineer scalable platform components capable of serving over 100K users with high reliability.  
8.  Implement agentic systems that automate monitoring, healing, scaling, and incident response.  
9.  Build secure multi tenant architectures with rigorous bank grade data isolation.  
10.  Deliver just in time and batch data processing solutions optimized for speed and cost efficiency.  
11.  Design systems with 99.9%+ uptime, robust disaster recovery, and failover mechanisms.  
12.  Integrate AI agents into workflows for automated coding, quality assurance, governance, deployment, and test automation.  
13.  Drive innovation through LLM integration, advanced prompt engineering, and AI system experimentation.  
14.  Develop intelligent platform features that enable automated operations and smart workflows.  
15.  Build APIs and integrations for large scale enterprise banking deployments.  
16.  Embed enterprise grade security, compliance, and audit trail capabilities into all platform components.  
17.  Optimize performance for high volume, latency sensitive financial transactions at minimal infrastructure cost.  
18.  Participate in technical design reviews and contribute innovative, forward looking solutions.  
19.  Work in a remote first, distributed engineering environment with a culture of learning and collaboration.  
20.  Share knowledge and learn from experts in distributed systems, data intensive applications, and AI integration.  
21.  Leverage previous experience from financial services or banking technology involving complex transaction systems.  

Ideal Candidate should have

1. 4+ Leadership experience
2. 10+ years  of full stack development experience with proven track record in enterprise environments
3. Enterprise SaaS experience building and scaling platforms serving 100K+ users
4. Go (Golang)   3+ years with enterprise-grade API development 
5. 3+ years of Java/Spring development.
6. PostgreSQL  Expert level database design, optimization, performance optimization and security practices in data intensive environments
7. Azure Cloud  Enterprise deployment, security, and compliance experience
8. Distributed Systems  Experience with complex, data-intensive applications and systems to systems integrations
9. Handson experience with AI-powered development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.)
10. Understanding  of LLM integration, prompt engineering, and AI system design
11. Multitenant architecture development and implementation at enterprise scale
12. Enterprise security standards and compliance frameworks experience
13. High availability systems with focus on scalability, reliability, and cost optimization
14. API design for enterprise integrations and third-party platforms
15. Performance optimization for high volume, complex low latency applications and batch based compute.

Mandatory Skills

1. Domain Experience: Enterprise Banking or Financial Technology.
2. 8+ years of development experience with 3+ years in technical leadership/principal roles
3. Proven track record leading engineering teams (4-10 engineers) in enterprise environments
4. Backend: Go (Golang) with 5+ years of experience, or expert level proficiency in Java/Spring.
5. Database: Expertlevel PostgreSQL (including advanced design, optimization, and security).
6. Containerization: Docker and Kubernetes.
7. Automation Platforms: Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Argo.
8. AI Development Tools: Experience with tools like Cursor, Claude Code, etc.
