Job Description

As a Lead Software Engineer at Mastercard, you will play a crucial role in the Employee Access Management program, ensuring seamless access for internal employees to Mastercard systems and applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Delivering high-quality business and functional requirements in the form of user stories to development teams for design, coding, testing, and implementation phases - Collaborating with architect guild, analysts, and technical leads to refine requirements for new functionality and enhancements - Building business cases based on requirements and gap analysis to bridge system functionality gaps - Applying detailed understanding of Certificate signing and Privileged access management to confirm requirement specifications and develop IT solutions - Participating in requirements gathering and review sessions for complex applications, including encryption and certificate management - Performing analysis of system requirements and ensuring proper designs with development teams - Providing technical support during implementations of new services and offering subject matter expertise for support escalations Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 7 years of experience in Java and related programming languages - Excellent expertise in Linux - Strong Java background with expertise in Springboot, Microservices, React, and preferred knowledge of Golang - Understanding of the product development lifecycle and experience working on large-scale enterprise initiatives - Experience with Information Security-related concepts and Privileged access management - Proficiency in agile delivery methodologies and CI/CD - Deep understanding of platform, integration patterns, and organizational capabilities - Hands-on experience in designing and implementing shared web service platforms - Expert knowledge of tools such as Confluence, Splunk, Rally, Remedy, and JIRA Your role as a Lead Software Engineer at Mastercard will require strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a high degree of ownership to deliver expected objectives. You will operate with independence and autonomy, driving resolution of issues and roadblocks to ensure the success of the team and product.,
