Job Description

As a Lead Software Engineer in Test for Cross Border Services, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of talented developers to ensure the highest quality standards are met in the development of our highly scalable product. Your responsibilities will include driving the test strategy for multiple service offerings, mentoring a team of Quality Engineers, and improving the overall standard of testing by providing vision and insights on testing practices. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Technical leads, and developers to identify test needs, ensure testability in designs, and conduct proof of concepts for early automation. Monitoring unit test coverage, ensuring quality gating, and taking ownership of performance testing are key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will research and implement alternative test frameworks and tools to adapt to changing business needs while sharing knowledge and competence with the team. To excel in this role, you must possess excellent hands-on test automation skills in Java, proficiency in Selenium, Karate, Core JAVA, XPath, MySQL, and Postman. You should be well-versed in full-stack software development test approaches and frameworks like TDD/BDD, Unit tests, Cucumber, Selenium, Rest Assured, and Karate. Experience in test strategies such as Chaos testing, mutation testing, working in cloud environments like PCF, AWS, Azure, and familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools is essential. Proven experience in defining and analyzing performance tests, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions is required. Prior experience in leading a quality team, excellent communication, documentation, collaboration skills, and the ability to influence others with your critical thinking and insights on testing practices are highly valued. Your proactive approach, willingness to take on challenges, and result-oriented mindset with a focus on Automation and Code Quality will make you a valuable asset to our team.,
