DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
Your Primary Responsibilities:
Stay current with new software testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.
Understand and apply industry-specific best practices & standards Prepare, maintain, and complete manual test cases based on user stories; present results and track defects to closure Design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality of software products. Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD) processes. As a squad member, work to understand software requirements. Design, develop and maintain automated tests that validate the functionality. As a squad member work to identify and resolve defects and improve the overall software testing process. Diagnose and remediate software defects. Work to identify & resolve defects and improve the overall software testing process. Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success. Establish level of expertise in the business areas, systems and platforms being supported. Responsible for system integration testing, including automation, of newly developed or enhanced applications. Responsible for reviewing requirements and design artifacts, developing unit, integration and system test cases, ensuring extensive test coverage for our applications. Understand and articulate the business and the value adds. Play an active role in translating business and functional requirements into concrete results. Responsible for Project Coordination and Technical Management tasks **NOTEThe Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **
Qualifications Proven min experience of 5-7 years with automated functional and integrated tests. Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Talents Needed for Success:
Hands on experience in GUI/API/XML Testing and Selenium with Java.
Strong experience with automated testing and test-driven development Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Extensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components. Experience in writing SQL queries. Experience with JIRA, ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins, Cucumber, Cucumber, Junit. Experience with front-end & backend testing using Java and Selenium. Experienced in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordination. In depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle (specifically the testing model, methodology, and processes). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detailed understanding of smoke testing, Functional , System integration and regression testing. Requires the ability to work well with both business clients and technical team independently, both individually and as part of a team. Preferably from Financial domain. Additional Qualifications
