Job Description: Position: Lead SDET (Automation and GenAI), Automotive Experience: 7 to 12 Years Location: Noida/Gurgaon Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Automation Leadership: Design and implement robust, scalable, and intelligent test automation frameworks for cloud-based services. - Test Suite Development: Create automated test coverage across various layers such as functional, performance, security, and end-to-end using tools like Playwright, Rest Assured, JMeter, Postman, and Cucumber. - Code Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards in both application and test automation code. - CI/CD Integration: Ensure seamless automation within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps) to facilitate faster releases. - Quality Strategy Definition: Lead QA planning, execution, and reporting for safety-critical systems with a focus on coverage and traceability. - Defect Management: Oversee defect lifecycle utilizing tools like JIRA, Zephyr, and Xray; leverage GenAI for efficient triage and RCA. - GenAI Integration: Identify, evaluate, and integrate Generative AI tools and techniques throughout the SDLC for automated test case generation, code optimization, and defect analysis. - Mentorship & Innovation: Guide junior engineers, promote AI-driven testing practices, and encourage continuous learning. - Agile Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Dev, and DevOps to embed quality throughout the SDLC. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Experience: 7-12 years in QA/Automation with 2-3 years in a lead/senior role, cloud-native background preferred. - Automation Expertise: Proficient in Java, JavaScript, or Python for automation framework development. Strong skills in building scalable frameworks using tools like Rest Assured, Selenium, Playwright, Appium, and JMeter. - GenAI Proficiency: Hands-on experience with GenAI tools (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude) for test automation, code generation, and analysis. Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and similar AI-powered dev/test tools. - Cloud & Microservices: Experience in testing apps on AWS, Azure, or GCP in microservices-based architectures. - CI/CD & DevOps: Proficiency in Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps for automation pipeline integration. - Testing Depth: Skilled in API testing (Postman, SoapUI), database validation (SQL/NoSQL), and various testing methodologies covering functional, performance, security, and end-to-end aspects. - Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, communication, and collaboration abilities. Nice to Have: - Background in Automotive, Telematics, or IoT. - Familiarity with real-time systems and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ). - Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Grafana). - Expertise in performance tuning and system optimization for large-scale platforms.
