Lead Quality Engineer

• Collaborating with your peers and engaging with Software Engineers,Product Managers, Delivery as part of our cross functional teams
• Advocating for the utilisation of the quality-first mindset throughoutthe development process
• Ensuring that we are embedding quality into our processes, utilisingrelevant techniques and heuristics where required to ensure effective testingand feedback loops
• You will be hands on, working with engineers to test and measure qualityas products are being built

Requirements

• Lead - 5+ years within the quality engineering space
• For leadroles: Wed like to also see proven experience in leading and coaching juniorengineers when it comes to quality and embedding it into teams. Ideally 1+years of experience in this area.
• You havea strong desire to continually improve, with an innate curiosity and an eye fordetail
• You haveexcellent communication skills, with the ability to proactively seek out andraise risks with relevant team members and leadership, working with them tohelp resolve any issues.
• You havea strong understanding of testing techniques, heuristics and processes - andhow/when they are implemented during the development process
• You havea working understanding of test automation, its benefits and how it should beimplemented along with knowledge of pitfalls. Bonus points if you haveexperience in building automated test frameworks to a working level!
• You havehad exposure to applications built with any of the following:
• Javascript/Typescript + React/Angular/Vue.js
• Testing frameworks such as playwright, storybook
• C# .NET
• Observability frameworks such as Grafana/Datadog
