Lead Product Engineer - MIPI Protocol

You will be an expert in the MIPI domain of the Verification IP family, both in terms of protocols and products. Your main role will involve accelerating the adoption of the VIP portfolio at Cadence's top-tier customers through pre-sales technical support. This requires strong verification expertise, understanding of customer design and verification flows, and the ability to transfer product knowledge to field engineers and customers. Additionally, you will translate high-level customer requirements into technical specifications and drive product definition to meet customer needs. Collaboration with R&D, Marketing, and support teams is crucial, and approximately 20% travel may be required. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead projects with high resource, risk, and complexity - Develop and lead large cross-functional initiatives with high resource requirements - Evaluate technology effectiveness and data interoperability of complex systems - Manage issue resolution with vendors and influence product quality and functionality - Communicate complex ideas effectively and persuade others at senior levels **Qualifications Required:** - 7 to 12 years of experience in Verification and Design - Working knowledge of MIPI protocols (CSI2/DSI/I3C/PHY) - Experience in developing Verification environments using System Verilog - Familiarity with the UVM methodology - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills - Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills - Ability to establish relationships with customers and management - Creative problem-solving mindset - Effective collaboration across functions and geographies - Commitment to excellence and integrity Cadence is committed to doing impactful work and solving challenging problems.
