Lead Product Designer

Job Description Were looking for an innovative and visionary Lead Product Designer to join our dynamic team in Chennai, India. As a Lead Product Designer, youll play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our products, leading design initiatives, and mentoring a talented team of designers. Drive the product design process from concept to launch, ensuring high-quality, user-centered design solutions Lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define product strategy and requirements Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve product experiences Create and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across products and platforms Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for various digital products Present design concepts and rationales to stakeholders and executive leadership Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design Contribute to the overall product strategy and vision, aligning design goals with business objectives Facilitate design thinking workshops and brainstorming sessions to generate innovative solutions Qualifications 6+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your best work Proven experience leading and mentoring design teams Expert proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and best practices Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail Experience with user research, usability testing, and data-driven design decisions Proficiency in creating interactive prototypes and design specifications Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions Experience developing and maintaining design systems Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development processes Bachelors degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field Knowledge of current design trends and emerging technologies Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches
