Location: Pune (Aundh) - Work From Office Opportunity: Join our dynamic team as a Lead Database Administrator specializing in PostgreSQL DBA, and be a part of reshaping the financial technology landscape through robust and secure database infrastructure management. Experience: A minimum of 6-9 years of hands-on experience in PostgreSQL Database Administration is a prerequisite for this role. What you will do: - Collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ascertain database system requirements and performance objectives. - Plan and execute database maintenance activities, including backups, upgrades, and patch deployments in a scheduled manner. - Lead the implementation of database solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives and industry best practices. - Design and deploy database schemas, indexes, and optimization strategies to enhance performance and scalability. - Implement database security measures, such as access controls, encryption, and auditing, to safeguard sensitive financial data. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines. - Conduct regular performance tuning and capacity planning exercises to optimize resource utilization and scalability. - Monitor and evaluate database system performance and health, promptly addressing any issues to minimize downtime and ensure reliability. - Prepare training materials and conduct sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of junior DBAs and team members. - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior DBAs, offering technical expertise and leadership for their professional growth. Qualifications: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. - Possession of certification in PostgreSQL administration or related technologies is considered advantageous. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Profound knowledge of PostgreSQL database administration, encompassing installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. - Proven experience in database performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing techniques. - Familiarity with database security best practices and regulatory compliance requirements, such as PCI-DSS and GDPR.,
