Lead Policy-Vehicle Loans

As a Lead Policy-Vehicle Loans under the Retail Risk department within the CRO vertical, your role involves managing the vehicle loans portfolio for the assigned products. Your key responsibilities include: - Critically examining and approving credit policy changes and fresh proposals - Establishing early warning indicators and other measures for portfolio performance evaluation and monitoring - Regularly monitoring the portfolio to ensure performance is maintained within approved risk thresholds - Ensuring product policies comply with regulatory guidelines and framework - Ensuring compliance with laid-down policies and procedures, with no critical gaps in internal or external audits for the respective products You will report to the Risk Head - Vehicle loans or equivalent and your responsibilities will include: - Understanding retail loan products, particularly TW, Used Car, and Commercial Vehicle Loans - Utilizing preferred experience in underwriting or product management of CV/CE and Auto Loans - Demonstrating data crunching abilities and detailed knowledge of portfolio review - Setting up risk thresholds for assigned products within the bank's risk appetite - Reporting on portfolio risk and breaches to set thresholds - Analyzing portfolio performance and implementing corrective measures - Vetting policy propositions and approving policy modifications based on credit risk - Understanding credit scoring models and collaborating with stakeholders for model deployment - Engaging proactively with counterparties for effective risk management - Monitoring portfolio performance on early risk indicators and trends for assessment of policy impact - Working with complex data for risk assessment insights - Ensuring compliance with audit requirements and regulatory guidelines - Attracting and retaining top talent for key roles in your reporting structure Qualifications required for this role: - Graduation in any field - Post-graduation in any field - 5+ years of relevant experience in the industry,
