Description
We are looking for a skilled Performance Tester with hands-on experience using Apache JMeter or other open-source performance testing tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing performance test plans to ensure the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of our applications and systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests using JMeter or similar tools. Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and work with development teams to resolve issues. Create detailed test plans, test scripts, and test reports. Simulate various user scenarios and traffic loads to evaluate application behavior under stress. Integrate performance tests with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. Monitor and analyze application and server performance metrics (e.g., CPU, memory, network usage) using monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or New Relic. Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure application performance meets business expectations. Document testing processes, results, and provide recommendations for improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong experience with Apache JMeter or other open-source performance testing tools (e.g., Gatling, Locust, k6). Good understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and web technologies. Experience with performance testing of web and mobile applications. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, or Java . Solid understanding of system performance metrics and monitoring tools. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests in automated workflows. Ability to analyze server logs, debug performance issues, and identify root causes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their performance testing implications. Experience with containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Experience in Telecom Domain Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence. Certifications in performance testing or related QA domains. Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
