Lead Network Engineer

Role Overview: As a key member of a dynamic and fast-growing business unit, your role will involve providing networking design expertise to ensure the smooth performance of digital systems from edge collection through cloud utilization. You will play a crucial part in technology developments by offering networking expertise and oversight to all developments. Additionally, you will provide networking expertise to project execution teams as needed and approve networking aspects of digital proposals. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or enhancing the efficiency of existing networks - Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment such as routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP - Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to optimize network efficiency and security - Monitoring and troubleshooting network performance to ensure maximum efficiency - Collaborating and coordinating with technology and security teams - Planning and executing scheduled upgrades - Investigating network faults and implementing necessary solutions - Updating network equipment with the latest firmware releases - Reporting network status to key stakeholders - Implementing, monitoring, and deploying disaster recovery systems and measures - Collaborating and approving network design in complex digital solution project proposals Qualifications: - 8+ years of experience in a network engineering role - Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical, networking, or electronics engineering - An analytical mindset - Ability to quickly learn new technologies - Good time management skills - Ability to work effectively in a process-driven team environment - Strong documentation skills - Effective written and verbal communication skills - Commercial and business awareness Additional Information: - Azure and Cisco network certifications are preferred - Network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, RHCE, CCIE, AWS Advanced Networking Certification, Azure Network Engineer Associate are a plus.,
