Lead Mobile Automation Tester

• Lead and mentor a team of mobile automation testers.
• Define automation strategy, tools, and processes for mobile testing (both Android & iOS).
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure quality is integrated into every stage of the SDLC.
• Conduct test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
• Design and implement robust, scalable automation frameworks for mobile and web platforms.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for mobile applications using tools such as

  Appium, Espresso, XCUITest,

  or similar.
• Develop automated test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing.
• Integrate automated tests into

  CI/CD pipelines

  (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise).
• Maintain and optimize automation scripts for stability and reliability.
• Perform end-to-end testing on Android and iOS devices/emulators.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure test coverage across multiple devices, OS versions, and screen resolutions. Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to provide QA insights early.
• Maintain detailed test documentation including test plans, cases, and reports.
• Provide regular QA metrics and automation progress updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of QA experience, with 4+ years in

  mobile automation testing

• Hands-on expertise with tools like

  Appium, Selenium, Espresso, XCUITest

  , or

  Detox

  .
• Strong programming skills in

  Java, Kotlin, Python, or JavaScript

  .
• Experience with

  CI/CD tools

  (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Familiarity with

  API testing tools

  (Postman, RestAssured) and

  version control systems

  (Git).
• Knowledge of

  cloud-based testing platforms

  like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or AWS Device Farm.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
