Job Summary:
We are hiring a Lead Backend Developer to guide and mentor a team in
building a mission-critical cloud-native Home Loan Platform. As a technical leader, you will drive system design, architecture discussions, and oversee the implementation of backend systems using modern cloud-native tools and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead design and development of microservices using Java/Spring Boot. Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural principles. Review code and design to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability. Work closely with Solution Architects and DevOps for cloud-native deployment and monitoring. Mentor junior and senior developers, perform design/code reviews. Own the delivery pipeline from design to deployment. Ensure seamless integration across cloud (AWS, GCP) and on-prem systems. Collaborate with QA, security, and infrastructure teams for end-to-end delivery. Guide integration of Kafka, DAPR, Temporal, YugabyteDB, and other critical components.
Required Skills:
12+ years of backend development experience with at least 2+ years in a
lead role. Expert in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API design, and microservices. Experience in leading backend development in a cloud-native, multi-cloud setup. Strong experience with Kafka, YugabyteDB, and distributed systems. Familiarity with DAPR, Temporal, or other modern microservices frameworks. Excellent understanding of security, observability, and resilience patterns in microservices. Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation. Strong communication and leadership skills.
Should be good in Observability and metrics. Have knowledge on Prometheus.
