Lead Insights Analyst

Role Overview: As the Lead Insights Analyst for the Cloud Success Insights Team, your primary responsibility is to deliver data-driven actionable insights and strategic recommendations that empower Cloud Leaders to drive various programs within the Customer Success. You will provide dedicated analytics support to a specific cloud team and collaborate with different teams within CSG. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate versatility in tackling a diverse range of problem statements, including in-depth analysis, strategic planning, forecasting, data visualization, and effective presentation. - Respond in a timely manner to questions raised by senior leaders, sometimes requiring a flexible working approach outside standard hours. - Own assigned projects from start to finish and assume responsibility for their successful completion. - Manage stakeholders effectively to ensure alignment and support for analytics initiatives. - Utilize extensive experience in writing complex database queries in SQL for data preparation. - Expertise in one or more popular visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI. - Dive deep into data analysis and interpretation to extract meaningful insights with a curious mindset. - Prepare executive-level stories and present data, dashboards, and analysis to the leadership team. - Ability to explain complex analytical concepts to executives and junior analysts. - Quickly learn new tools within the analytics space to adapt to changing requirements. - Act as a team player and mentor junior analysts in the team. Qualifications Required: - Degree or equivalent proven experience, with evaluation based on core competencies for the role. - Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of experience in a data analytics team. - Demonstrated experience in data engineering is a nice-to-have skill. - Expertise in advanced analytics, including predictive modeling and machine learning using Python/R. - Tableau certification like desktop specialist/professional is a plus. - Hands-on experience working with cloud data sources and Salesforce product certification is advantageous. - Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to create and present data effectively to leadership.
