Description
The role of a Recruiter at UST in Coimbatore entails coordinating and executing recruiting activities to ensure the acquisition of top talent through strong relationships with Business Units and stakeholders. As an experienced team member, you will have a higher level of independence in planning and carrying out responsibilities while guiding team members. You will be responsible for the full life cycle recruiting process, which includes sourcing, applicant testing, interviewing, conducting background checks, and closing qualified requirements as assigned. Additionally, you will provide high-level recruiting services to business leaders by developing key recruiting strategies and developing a network to identify and source qualified candidates. Your role also involves handling queries, managing the candidate experience process, exploring areas for process improvements, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and recruitment trends. You will be measured based on the quality of candidates sourced and shortlisted, source of hire, SLA adherence, cost per hire, offer acceptance ratio, joining ratio, early attrition of new hires, candidate conversion metrics, multi-tasking ability, proactive task execution, recruitment initiatives managed end-to-end, compliance to policies and procedures, and accurate reporting and data management. In terms of stakeholder connect, you will develop and maintain strong work relationships with leaders, vendors, community organizations, and team members to create a collaborative partnership. You will also execute the framework of the hiring process from understanding requirements to developing the right sourcing strategy, ensuring on-time delivery, and establishing communications with hiring managers and candidates at every step. Your responsibilities include leveraging online recruiting resources, local community groups, associations, and an in-house applicant tracking system to identify and recruit the right candidates, anticipating talent requirements, analyzing market intelligence, coordinating with partners, driving campus hiring strategies, fostering relationships with colleges and professional organizations, and developing a network of referrals. You will review resumes and credentials for fitment, conduct behavioral interview assessments, manage interview scheduling, prepare candidates for interviews, document post-interview feedback, extend offers to selected candidates, advise on compensation packages, and negotiate terms. Additionally, you will be responsible for team performance and growth, hands-on training, coaching, operational guidance, periodic reporting, and other operational activities like managing reference checks, maintaining cost controls, and ensuring data accuracy for audits. Key skills required for this role include communication, interpersonal, decision-making, discretion, technical proficiency, business acumen, growth mindset, collaboration, and empathy. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, recruitment processes, applicant tracking systems, and current recruiting trends is essential.
