" Edifecs , Healthcare , Java , Javascript ","description":" Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior EDI Developer \/ EDIFECS Integration Specialist to lead and contribute to the implementation, optimization, and support of EDIFECS products. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with EDI transactions, strong Java development capabilities, and a background in healthcare payer systems. This role involves architecture design collaboration, EDI process flow optimization, and mentoring team members while working in an Agile development environment. Roles and Responsibilities: Development & Design: Develop, configure, and optimize EDI interfaces and process flows using EDIFECS. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Java and JavaScript. Create, review, and maintain HLDs, LLDs, SADs, and domain-specific design documentation. Reuse existing components and apply design patterns for optimal performance and cost efficiency. Implementation & Testing: Interpret application\/component designs and convert them into high-quality, production-ready code. Perform unit testing and support the QA team by reviewing test cases and clarifying requirements. Conduct RCA for defects, identify trends, and implement preventive measures. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with client architects, technical leads, and PMs to define architecture and project schedules. Conduct technical presentations and product demos for customers. Handle client communications and participate in requirement discussions and planning calls. Team Management & Mentorship: Set and review FAST goals for self and team members. Mentor and upskill internal team members on EDIFECS tools and standards. Ensure engagement and motivation across team members, addressing people-related issues proactively. Project & Process Compliance: Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality norms, and compliance trainings. Monitor and execute release processes and manage configuration plans. Contribute to internal knowledge repositories and documentation standards. Must-Have Skills: 4+ years of hands-on experience with EDIFECS installation and configuration . Proficient in Java and JavaScript programming. Strong experience working with EDI X12 transaction sets \u2013 including but not limited to 835, 834, 837, 278, 277, 275, 997, and 999. In-depth understanding of EDI workflows, maps, and business rules . Proficiency in Git version control and Agile methodologies (Scrum\/Kanban). Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Experience interacting with clients and cross-functional technical teams . Good-to-Have Skills: Experience in healthcare payer systems and associated compliance requirements. Familiarity with database systems (DBMS) , IDEs, and modern DevOps tools. Prior experience in mentoring teams or managing deliverables as a module lead. Domain certifications in healthcare or EDI standards . Experience with interface definition languages (IDL) and modeling technologies. Preferred Certifications (Optional but Valuable): EDIFECS Product Certification HIPAA \/ Healthcare Domain Certifications Agile\/Scrum Certification ","
