Lead I - Software Engineering

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using .NET, React, and AWS Services. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will deliver seamless web experiences and develop RESTful APIs integrated with front-end applications. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code for both server-side and client-side, optimizing database queries with SQL Server, and managing schema changes. Additionally, you will design and implement front-end interfaces using React, conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers. Troubleshooting and debugging issues across the stack, providing timely solutions, leading technical discussions, guiding architectural decisions, and participating in Agile ceremonies will also be part of your responsibilities. Staying up to date with industry best practices, tools, and emerging technologies is crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using .NET, React, and AWS Services - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless web experiences - Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end applications - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for server-side and client-side - Implement and optimize database queries with SQL Server and manage schema changes - Design and implement front-end interfaces using React, including state management - Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers - Ensure high performance, security, and responsiveness of web applications - Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack - Lead technical discussions and guide architectural decisions - Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with stakeholders Qualifications Required: - Strong experience in C#, MVC, React.js, Entity Framework, ASP.net Core API, JQuery, CSS, HTML, Bootstrap - Proficiency in React.js and front-end JavaScript frameworks, including React hooks and Redux - Solid experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and MySQL, along with data modeling - Strong understanding of Version Control Systems like Git/GitHub/Bitbucket - Experience with Cloud Platforms, specifically AWS services - Familiarity with containerization using Docker and CI/CD pipelines - Deep understanding of web standards, performance optimization, and responsive design - Experience with testing frameworks including unit tests, integration tests, and test-driven development - Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams - Knowledge of Microservices Architecture and distributed systems - Familiarity with front-end testing tools like Jest and React Testing Library - Experience with TypeScript and modern JS toolchains like Webpack and Babel - Exposure to Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum environment - Ability to lead and mentor junior developers in technical areas About UST: UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider that partners with clients from design to operation, embedding innovation and agility into organizations.
