Lead I - Software Engineering

Role Overview: You will be responsible for handling request intake and validation, acting as the single-entry point for all requests from project/product delivery teams. Your role will involve validating requests for completeness, providing effort/usage/cost estimates to stakeholders, and categorizing and routing requests to the appropriate owner. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain dashboards/reports on request pipeline, communicate request progress effectively, and collaborate with various teams for demand forecasting and scheduling feasibility. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the single-entry point for all requests from project/product delivery teams. - Validate requests for completeness and provide effort/usage/cost estimates to stakeholders. - Categorize and route requests to the right owner (Environment Manager, Change Manager, Incident Manager). - Maintain dashboards/reports on request pipeline, SLA status, and upcoming allocations. - Proactively communicate request progress, blockers, and approvals to requestors. - Work with Environment Manager for demand forecasting and scheduling feasibility. - Align with Incident Manager on access/service requests. Qualifications Required: - 46 years of experience in Release, Service Request, or Environment Coordination roles. - Ability to create Jira dashboards and track different metrics. - Familiarity with non-production environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Performance) and the SDLC lifecycle. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience supporting delivery teams. - ITIL Certified / ITSM Certified / ITIL Process Management. - ITSM Tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy). - Ticketing Tools / Incident Management. - Release Coordination. - Service Request Management/ Environment Management. - Non-Production Environment Support. - SDLC Lifecycle Knowledge. - Strong Communication Skills. - Experience in DevOps or SRE. - Telecommunication domain experience (Good to Have). - Understanding of end-to-end flow or architecture (Good to Have). - Testing background/experience to help in understanding E2E flows (Good to Have).
