Job Title: Power BI and SAP BO Report Developer Location : Trivandrum,Kochi,Chennai,Bangalore,Hyderabad,Pune Experience Range : 5 + years We are looking for an experienced Power BI and SAP BO Report Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in the design, development, and deployment of various types of reports, including paginated, visual, and semantic modeling reports. You will work with stored procedures, user input parameters, and report scheduling to deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities : Report Development : Develop and design Power BI and SAP BO reports, including paginated , visual , and semantic modeling reports . Design, format, and develop reports based on business requirements and technical specifications. Create reports with multiple tabs and detailed structures to present data effectively. Parameters and Filters : Implement parameters and filters at the report level to customize user experiences and reporting outputs. Implement parameters and filters at the data source level to optimize data extraction and processing. Report Creation : Develop reports based on stored procedures using user input prompts and parameters. Create and manage variables and calculated columns within the reports for better data manipulation and presentation. Report Scheduling : Implement report scheduling , ensuring reports are automatically generated and distributed to stakeholders at specified intervals. Pass parameters during report scheduling to ensure that the data is accurately filtered and relevant for each report distribution. Cross-functional Collaboration : Work with business users and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data is structured and optimized for reporting. Must-Have Skills : Power BI : Strong experience in creating paginated, visual, and semantic modeling reports. SAP BO : Proficient in developing reports using SAP BusinessObjects. Report Development : Experience with designing, formatting, and developing various types of reports. Parameters and Filters : Proficiency in using parameters and filters at the report and data source level. Stored Procedures : Experience in report creation based on stored procedures with user input prompts and parameters. Calculated Columns : Ability to create variables and calculated columns within reports. Report Scheduling : Experience in scheduling reports and passing parameters during the scheduling process. Cross-functional Communication : Ability to collaborate with business teams to define reporting requirements. Good-to-Have Skills : Experience with SQL for query optimization and advanced report creation. Knowledge of data modeling and best practices for building scalable reporting solutions. Experience with other reporting tools or platforms. Familiarity with data visualization principles to present complex data in an intuitive manner. Understanding of business processes and KPIs across different business domains (e.g., finance, operations, marketing). Experience Range : 5 + years of experience in report development using Power BI , SAP BO , and SQL .
