Lead I - Software Engineering-DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer at UST, you will play a crucial role in managing the complete DevOps lifecycle to streamline operations and enhance system reliability. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git. - Onboarding and managing infrastructure components for the ORS platform. - Developing and maintaining DevOps tooling and automation to optimize operations. - Driving environment stability and implementing infrastructure hygiene standards. - Implementing observability and telemetry using tools like Splunk, Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana. - Collaborating with global teams, stakeholders, and RPE to ensure smooth delivery and support. - Managing hybrid infrastructure for large-scale platforms, including cloud and on-premises environments. - Supporting Kubernetes, Docker-based deployments, and various cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of Linux systems, OS fundamentals, and networking. - Advanced scripting skills in Python and Bash. - Proficiency in DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, Autosys, Terraform, etc. - Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience in managing cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Proactive learning attitude towards new systems and technologies.
