Description
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing the complete DevOps lifecycle with a focus on developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, onboarding infrastructure for the ORS platform, and automating processes to reduce manual effort and improve system reliability. You will need to have a strong understanding of Linux systems, scripting, observability tools, and modern DevOps methodologies. Working closely with global teams and stakeholders, you will foster a collaborative and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git, onboarding and managing infrastructure components for the ORS platform, developing and maintaining DevOps tooling and automation to optimize operations, driving environment stability, implementing observability and telemetry using tools like Splunk, Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana, liaising with global teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and support, managing hybrid infrastructure for large-scale platforms, and supporting Kubernetes, Docker-based deployments, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Required Skills: - Strong understanding of Linux, OS fundamentals, and networking. - Advanced scripting skills in Python and Bash. - Proficiency with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, Autosys, and Terraform. - Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience in managing cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Proactive learning attitude towards new systems and technologies. Preferred / Nice To Have: - Exposure to data domains, ETL workflows, or related data engineering concepts. Role Summary: As a DevOps Engineer, you will leverage your expertise throughout the DevOps lifecycle to build and maintain CI/CD solutions, onboard and maintain infrastructure components for the ORS platform, develop and maintain DevOps tooling and automation solutions to reduce toil and optimize processes, drive environment stability initiatives, implement observability and telemetry solutions, liaise with stakeholders, global team members, and RPE, fostering an inclusive and positive working environment in the team. Required skills include a strong understanding of Linux systems, OS fundamentals, and networking, strong scripting experience in Python and Bash, experience with modern DevOps tools and practices including Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, Autosys, observability tooling, laC, etc., understanding of modern distributed systems architecture, experience in procuring and maintaining both cloud and on-prem infrastructure for large platforms, experience with public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP, good analytical capability, logical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, and willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
