Job Description

As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in HR shared services at Tesco India in Bengaluru, Karnataka, you will be responsible for handling various activities to meet operational critical metrics according to agreed SLAs and implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) methodology within the team. Your accountability includes following the Business Code of Conduct, driving and implementing CI Projects and innovation, demonstrating deep expertise in a particular process or field, providing first-line team supervisory responsibilities, maintaining relationships with multiple partners, solving complex operational problems, providing operational inputs to the Manager WL2 on time, identifying process gaps and bridging them through operational excellence and innovation, managing operational documentation, meeting operational deliverables consistently, and being proactive in foreseeing challenges and assessing risks. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders within and outside Tesco to ensure the successful execution of HR shared services. Your role will involve working with team members, HR stakeholders, internal and external auditors, as well as third-party service providers. The operational skills required for this position include experience in HR Shared Services, domain expertise in HR, working on complex cases, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, understanding of UK legislation and compliance, Continuous Improvement (CI) Foundation Certification, planning and organizing skills, stakeholder management, process mapping tools, problem-solving abilities, and process coaching expertise.
