LEAD- HR Accounting

As a Finance and Reporting Consultant Expert at Societe Generale London Branch in the UK, your role will involve overseeing financial management, production, and reporting within a team responsible for the regulatory and financial framework of one of Europe's leading financial services groups. Reporting to the SGLB Financial Reporting and Compensation Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities supporting SGLB's financial reporting, including collaboration with offshore teams, managing accounting processes, and overseeing compensation benefits. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise the booking of short- and long-term bonuses and related hedges in the UK and other EU locations in coordination with SG Paris. - Assist in supervising group and regulatory reports. - Provide bonus information to offshore teams, local CFOs, tax specialists, and Paris. - Liaise with the management accounting team for correct bonus accounting. - Reconcile and substantiate accounts. - Automate and enhance controls on accounting processes. - Implement technical solutions for operational efficiency. - Maintain appropriate documentation of key processes. - Manage foreign currency hedging. - Participate in offshore governance calls and monitor fixed assets reports. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in financial duties with good communication skills. - Familiarity with accounting rules for bonus schemes and compensation accounting. - Curiosity to leverage new data management tools. - Attention to detail. - Proactive problem-solving attitude. - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities. - Team player with a collaborative mindset. - Trustworthy and ethical. - Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment. Work Experience: - Experience in investment banking or HR accounting/finance functions. - Knowledge of compensation benefits and complex bonus schemes. - Familiarity with FX management and general accounting rules. - Ability to work in a team-oriented, deadline-driven, control-based environment. - Medium excel and analytical skills required. Language Skills: - Fluent in English. - Additional languages beneficial for better communication.
