Job Title: Sales Assistant - Construction Industry Location : Hyderabad, AP, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamilnadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Delhi, Odisha. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales assistant to join our team in the field, specializing in the construction industry. The Sales assistant will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new business and the management of existing client accounts. This role requires a combination of field sales, client management, market analysis, and strategic planning to meet and exceed sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue goals and growth targets. Identify new business opportunities within the construction sector, including contractors, project managers, architects, and engineers. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to adjust sales tactics and strategies accordingly. Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients in the construction industry. Provide consultative sales approaches, understanding clients' needs, and offering tailored solutions based on their project requirements. Regularly meet with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and seek additional business opportunities. Lead Generation and Business Development: Identify and target new prospects in the construction industry, including both large-scale projects and smaller opportunities. Conduct field visits to potential clients, project sites, and industry events to generate new leads and build brand awareness. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients. Negotiation and Closing Sales: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Close deals and secure long-term contracts while ensuring profitability for the company. Coordinate with the internal team to ensure seamless execution of sales agreements. Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts on a regular basis. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales progress, and performance metrics in CRM systems. Provide detailed reports to senior management regarding sales trends, client feedback, and market conditions. Collaboration and Team Coordination: Work closely with project management and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of client projects. Coordinate with marketing teams to support sales initiatives, campaigns, and promotional activities. Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on the latest construction products, materials, and services offered by the company. Understand the technical aspects of the products and services to communicate their benefits effectively to clients. Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any client issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with internal teams to find solutions to client challenges and ensure satisfaction. Qualifications: Experience: At least 0 - 2 years of sales experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
