Lead Frontend Engineer

As the Lead Frontend Engineer at Leap Wallet, you will be responsible for spearheading the development and scaling of the Elements SDK. This SDK aims to become an indispensable tool for developers in the Cosmos ecosystem and beyond, focusing on aspects such as performance, usability, and integration ease. You will design, develop, and optimize the Elements SDK to ensure a seamless and intuitive developer experience. Additionally, you will lead the Elements frontend team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Your role will also involve playing a pivotal part in the integration process. This includes engaging with interested developers, participating in demo and pitch calls, and guiding them from proof of concept to final integration and launch. It is essential to cultivate deep engagement with the Cosmos developer community and collaborate closely with backend engineers and product managers to align the SDK's development with market needs and user expectations. Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive documentation and tutorials to empower developers to easily integrate and leverage the SDK. The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 6 years of frontend development experience, with a strong focus on SDK or API development. Proficiency in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript is essential, coupled with a passion for creating developer-focused tools. Experience in deploying scalable products for a global audience and proactive engagement with developer communities are highly valued. Knowledge of blockchain technologies, especially Cosmos, would be advantageous. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and Figma is also beneficial. Experience in an early-stage setup is a plus. Bonus points will be awarded for experience in building performant UI animations on Mobile, CI/CD for mobile apps, automated testing integrations, working on blockchains or fintech space, and being an early engineer in previous roles.
