Lead - Financial Analyst

As a Financial Analyst at Lam Research, you will play a crucial role in driving financial strategies and shaping the company's decisions for the future. Your expertise in interpreting data, performing analysis, and understanding financial outlook will make you a trusted advisor to the business. You will work on challenging projects with internal business partners at all levels, contributing directly to financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking to support financial cycles and decision-making processes. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing financial forecasting, consolidation, reporting, and operational metrics tracking for Quarterly Reviews, Annual Operating Planning (AOP), and Balance Sheet Review (BSR). - Managing quarter-end close processes, including variance analysis and reporting of inventory, headcount, Opex, and Capex. - Conducting financial analysis to influence decisions and support corporate initiatives. - Preparing and publishing reports to create visibility on spending trends and headcount for spending prioritization recommendations. - Collaborating with Business Operations to identify and drive profitability initiatives and projects. - Leading business process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. - Building trusted business relationships, gaining a deep understanding of the business, and providing actionable insights from growth opportunities to cost savings. - Supporting internal and external audits, controls, and compliance-related activities. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business-related field with 5+ years of experience; or Master's degree or equivalent certification (MBA, CPA, CFA, CA, CMA, or equivalent) with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent experience. - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, dashboards, and data visualization. - Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain business partner relationships at all levels. - Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and effective multitasking skills. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Preferred qualifications for the role include: - Foundational understanding of US GAAP and India GAAP. - Prior experience in technology, manufacturing, or related industries. - Advanced analytical, financial modeling, and reporting skills. - SAP and Business Objects experience or demonstrable strong systems skills. - Experience in business intelligence (BI) technologies, tools, and concepts. - Ability to collaborate with diverse, cross-functional, and international teams, including occasional flexible schedules to accommodate time zones.,
