Lead Engineer - Technical reviewer - Mechanical Design Engineered Solutions

As a Technical Reviewer at Atlas Copco GECIA Competence, your mission is to enhance and sustain the quality of services by evaluating and ensuring the accuracy, quality, and compliance of mechanical design projects. In this role, you will collaborate with design teams, interact with technical leads and customers, and provide expert guidance on challenging technical issues to ensure on-time delivery and a first-time-right approach. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and evaluating mechanical design documents, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and adherence to industry standards. You will work closely with mechanical engineers and project leaders to facilitate design reviews, provide feedback for improvement, and resolve technical queries raised by cross-functional teams. Additionally, you will prepare comprehensive review reports, contribute to the development of best practices, and ensure quality assurance processes within the design team. To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 8 years of custom project experience and in-depth knowledge of compressor technologies, industry standards, and best practices. Proficiency in software such as Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Enovia, Vault, and 3DX is required. You should also possess strong problem-solving abilities, creative thinking skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
