Lead Engineer - Software

Role Overview: As a Electrical and Electronics Specialist for Construction Equipment, your role will involve ensuring the reliable and sound electrical systems based on application requirements. You will be responsible for developing and adapting various electronics systems in the vehicle, such as GPRS, Telematics, and Multi-mode operation, to provide a differentiated product value proposition tailored to customer needs. Your expertise will be crucial in the development and integration of electrical parts using the latest technology, such as lamps, wiring harnesses, temps, and clusters at the vehicle level. Additionally, you will be at the forefront of incorporating the latest developments in EES systems into the vehicles, designing diagnostic and prognostic tools and strategies, and collaborating with interfacing areas like EMS, ABS, and telematics for the development of construction vehicles. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate strong product knowledge for construction equipment and stay updated on industry trends and innovations - Create and adapt various electronics systems in vehicles for enhanced product value proposition - Develop electrical parts with the latest technology and integrate them at the vehicle level - Stay informed about the latest developments in EES systems and implement them in vehicles - Design and develop diagnostic and prognostic tools and strategies - Collaborate with interfacing areas like EMS, ABS, and telematics for construction vehicle development - Utilize CAD / TC knowledge, specifically CATIA V5 R17 / Siemens - Implement DFM, DFA, DTC, DFMEA, QC story methodologies - Develop systems for departmental processes to ensure adherence to MPDS - Establish the organizational structure for the EES team and develop team members - Liaise with internal (various aggregate members) and external (Vendors) stakeholders to synchronize priorities and ensure timely part development Qualification Required: - Industry Preferred: BE/ ME in Electrical and Electronics - Experience: 15-22 years (Note: General Requirements section is omitted as it was not provided in the Job Description),
