Lead Engineer - Product Development (Software)

As a Lead Engineer Application Support in the Engineering & Application Support department, your role will involve: - Application Engineering on MCU & Motors: - Selection, test, validation, and optimization - Assessment of specifications and working with multiple Motor and MCU combinations to meet customer requirements - Calibration and support for Motor/MCU at the subsystem level - Interaction and Collaboration: - Interacting with multi-geographical inter and intra-national teams, partners, customers, and suppliers for product issue resolutions - Resolving and troubleshooting issues at the customer end to ensure customer satisfaction - Working closely with the BD team & customers to achieve vehicle-level performance requirements - Project Management and Support: - Supporting order acquisition and providing project management leadership for the timely completion of customer programs - Creating an Application Database utilizing India and Global Use Cases - Collaborating with external labs and certification bodies - Supporting operations, quality, and after-sales service teams on problem resolution Qualifications and Experience: - Qualified Engineer (Electronics/Power Electronics) preferably from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutes with excellent knowledge of electric motors & drives - Experience in the Automotive/Auto Component/Motor & AC Drive industries - Experience working with international partners and suppliers - Hands-on experience in profiling motor and control unit as per vehicle specifications - EV experience and/or expertise in Motor Control Strategies including Encoders, Resolvers would be advantageous - Experience in working with LABCARs, Test RIGS, Test bench, Proto Vehicle application testing, and support - Knowledge of CAN network protocol, Controller unit software configuration tools - Comfortable working in a startup environment and adaptable to adjust plans as per business needs - Strong drive and enthusiasm to make a difference - Exposure to a multicultural environment - Good people management skills,
