RTL Linting: Running static code analysis tools to identify potential design issues in HDL code like syntax errors, coding style violations, potential timing issues, and logic inconsistencies. Analyzing lint reports and fixing identified issues in the RTL code. Customizing lint rules based on project requirements and design guidelines. CDC Verification: Identifying and analyzing signals crossing different clock domains within the design. Ensuring proper synchronization mechanisms are implemented at clock domain crossings to avoid data corruption. Analyzing CDC reports and fixing identified issues in the RTL code. Required skills for a Lint and CDC role: Strong understanding of VLSI design principles and HDL languages (Verilog/VHDL) Proficiency in using industry-standard linting and CDC verification tools like Synopsys Spyglass Knowledge of design constraints and timing analysis Experience in debugging complex design issues related to RTL coding and clock domain crossings Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automating lint and CDC checks HARMAN is proud to be an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer .
