Lead Engineer - Development

You are an experienced Senior C++ Software Engineer who will be responsible for growing and enhancing the PTP software platform at FIS. The PTP Platform is a cloud-based Securities Processing solution used by global financial institutions. You will work on strategic enhancements to the platform as well as client implementation projects. As part of the PTP Platform development group, you will be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle and take ownership of key functional areas. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyzing user requirements and translating them into solution design - Estimating and breaking down tasks into manageable chunks - Implementing new features and feature enhancements - Leading code reviews and enforcing best practices within an agile team - Mentoring junior colleagues **Qualifications Required:** - 7+ years of commercial software development experience using C++ - SQL experience - Unix/Linux experience - Relevant degree in a numeric discipline, or equivalent work experience - Excellent written and spoken English **Additional Details:** FIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information processed to provide services to clients.
