Job Role: We are in search of a proactive Senior DevOps Lead to spearhead the modernization of our global infrastructure and streamline end-to-end application deployment capabilities. This position will play a critical role in devising and executing unified, automated, and cloud-native solutions across a widely distributed, hybrid infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the evaluation and overhaul of existing infrastructure management and deployment pipelines. - Conceptualize and deploy unified DevOps frameworks spanning on-premises and cloud (AWS) environments. - Foster the adoption of contemporary Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Chef), and GitOps methodologies. - Seamlessly integrate tools and processes encompassing provisioning (VMware/Nutanix/ESXi), OS patching, and CMDB (ServiceNow). - Provide guidance on containerization, orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS), and workload optimization endeavors. - Collaborate with multifunctional teams to simplify deployment processes and cognitive workload. - Develop automation to facilitate dynamic workload placement and lifecycle management. Requirements: - Possess 8+ years of hands-on DevOps experience in managing large-scale, hybrid infrastructures. - Proficiency in AWS, VMware, Linux (RHEL), Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible/Chef). - In-depth knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), GitOps, and container platforms (Kubernetes/EKS/OpenShift). - Demonstrated expertise in integrating diverse infrastructure tools and automating end-to-end workflows. - Strong problem-solving acumen and the ability to influence architecture and operations. - Prior experience in performance-sensitive environments is advantageous. Nice to Have: - Exposure to legacy-to-cloud migration and post-M&A infrastructure integration. - Familiarity with cost optimization strategies and license rationalization for VMware and AWS environments. - Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and platform engineering best practices.,
