Job Description

Key Responsibilities Lead and execute AWS to GCP migration for a video streaming platform, covering compute, networking, storage, databases, and IAM
Architect and manage scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud environments designed forhigh-throughput, low-latency video workloads
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/Cloud Deployment Manager
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, or Cloud Build
Design and maintain containerized workloads with Kubernetes (EKS, GKE) and Docker
Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring, ELK/EFK) with special focus onstreaming performance metrics (latency, bandwidth utilization, QoS)
Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency, reliability, and developer productivity
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, security) to accelerate delivery pipelines
Ensure compliance with security standards and governance, especially for media content protection (DRM, CDN security, access policies)
Required Skills & Qualifications 5 7 years of DevOps experience with a strong background in cloud platforms
Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP, including cloud migration projects
Strong proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
Proven experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build)
Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash
Knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, load balancers, firewalls, hybrid cloud)
Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM policies, and compliance practices
Experience with video streaming applications: CDN integration (Cloud CDN, Akamai, CloudFront) Video processing/transcoding (FFmpeg, MediaConvert, Transcoder API) Monitoring streaming performance (latency, buffering, availability)Good to Have Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud strategies
Knowledge of serverless platforms (AWS Lambda, Cloud Functions)
Familiarity with FinOps / cost optimization in high-bandwidth environments
Exposure to agile development and DevSecOps practices
Understanding of DRM, content delivery, and adaptive bitrate streaming (HLS, DASH)
