Lead Demand Planning

You will be joining a Global MNC as a Lead Demand Planning professional based in Gurugram with over 5 years of experience. Your primary responsibilities will include generating accurate statistical demand forecasts for the region utilizing Demantra. This role involves analyzing extensive datasets, implementing statistical models, and identifying trends to enhance forecast accuracy. You will collaborate with local market experts and global teams to optimize system usage, adopt best practices, and improve forecast quality. Strong analytical and influencing skills are crucial to ensure alignment of regional practices with global standards and support continuous improvement efforts. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining statistical forecasts by utilizing system capabilities, historical data, and advanced analytics to provide high-accuracy projections. You will work closely with in-country demand planning experts to refine forecasts for key brands and SKUs, aligning them with local market intelligence and business priorities. Additionally, you will contribute to global initiatives and lead cross-functional projects when required. Your role will also involve applying strong influencing and communication skills to ensure alignment of regional practices with global standards, drive adoption of industry best practices, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in statistical forecasting methods, particularly using Demantra, SAP IBP, or proprietary tools (specifically Demantra, DM & AFDM modules). Hands-on experience in forecasting and analytics, including generating forecasts and fine-tuning models for improved outcomes, is essential. Business experience in the product industry and familiarity with a large and diverse product portfolio would be advantageous. The ability to perform effectively under pressure and collaborate with global stakeholders as necessary is required. Knowledge of S&OP / Integrated Business Planning is a plus, and experience with SQL would be beneficial for this role.,
