Lead Controls/Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Controls/Software Engineer to join our team at DynoConv. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in controls and high-end programming software engineering, with excellent leadership skills. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in PLC, HMI, SCADA, C++, Python, SQL, LabView, MATLAB and automation platforms, combined with technical leadership and ownership of deliverables.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for industrial automation projects.
• Can be able to handle expert level programming in Rockwell software (Studio 5000, Factory Talk View), Siemens Software (TIA Portal).
• Can be able to independently write the PLC program in Ladder, SFC, Structured Text and can be able to do software programs such as C++ and Python.
• Establish and enforce

  programming standards, reusable code libraries, and best practices

  .
• Support

  new product development (NPD)

  activities, including advanced control features and system enhancements.
• Ensure control system designs are

  scalable, maintainable, and compliant

  with applicable standards and customer requirement

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in controls and high-end programming software engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience in instruments like encoder, servo, VFD, Vision Systems and barcode readers
• Strong Hands-on experience in Material handling industries is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of control systems, software development, and testing methodologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
