Lead - Controllership

As a Controller at OET and its subsidiaries, your role involves overseeing the controllership function and preparing monthly & quarterly financial statements. You will be responsible for providing financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making processes. Your key responsibilities include: - Leading accounting operations, MIS, variance analysis, and both statutory & management reporting - Collaborating with the treasury team to manage working capital/ term loan drawdowns and working with the tax team on compliance and assessment proceedings - Coordinating with external auditors for financial, compliance, and tax audits - Developing and monitoring company policies and internal controls, specifically focusing on spending controls to prevent fraud - Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements - Ensuring regulatory compliance and accuracy in transaction recording - Implementing KPI-based reporting for various stakeholders - Establishing procedures, policies, and SOP's in alignment with accounting standards and regulations To qualify for this role, you should have: - A CA qualification with 12-15 years of post-qualification experience in a similar capacity - Extensive experience in finance and accounting, particularly in financial management, reporting, and analysis - Demonstrated progression in your career with managerial or supervisory roles - Profound knowledge of financial reporting, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements, compliance with accounting standards (such as IND AS, GAAP, and IFRS), and financial controls - Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic insights through financial modeling and ratio analysis This position offers a challenging opportunity to drive financial excellence and contribute to the growth and success of OET and its subsidiaries.,
