Job Description

Responsibilities Manage and maintain AWS cloud environment. Manage and maintain VMware infrastructure, including VxRail, vSphere, ESXi hosts, vSAN and virtual machines, ensuring high availability and performance. Manage and maintain cisco UCS environment. Manage and maintain Beyond trust password safe environment. Administer Windows servers, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File server and Group Policy management. Monitor the performance and availability of VMware and Windows systems, implementing optimization strategies to enhance efficiency and scalability. Provide L2/L3 support for VMware and Windows-related incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations. Utilize scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, PowerCLI) to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency. Implement and adhere to security policies, procedures, and best practices for VMware and Windows environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Generate reports on system performance and health metrics. Work closely with network engineers, system administrators, and other IT teams to ensure integrated and efficient operations of VMware and Windows systems. Manage changes to the VMware and Windows environments through rigorous testing, coordination, and documentation to minimize risks and disruptions. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications / Skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proficiency in VMware technologies such as VxRail, vSAN, vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter. Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. Strong knowledge of working and managing beyond trust password safe. Strong knowledge of working on Dell and Cisco servers. Experience with system management and monitoring tools. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, PowerCLI) for automation and task execution. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Certifications related to VMware (e.g., VCP - VMware Certified Professional) and Windows Server (e.g., MCSA: Windows Server). Certifications related to AWS cloud. Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet). Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and support.
