Lead Consultant - SAP Project Systems (PS)

We are hiring a SAP Project Systems (PS) Lead Consultant with 8+ years of experience to support SAP implementation, rollout, and support projects. The role involves managing SAP PS solution delivery, working closely with stakeholders, and ensuring smooth integration with other SAP modules. This position requires strong functional expertise and the ability to lead moderately complex project environments.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation and support of SAP Project Systems (PS) solutions.
• Conduct requirement gathering, gap analysis, and functional design based on business needs.
• Configure standard SAP PS functionalities: WBS structures, networks, cost planning, budgeting, availability control, and settlements.
• Collaborate with FI/CO, MM, SD, and PM teams for integrated process design and testing.
• Handle unit testing, integration testing, data migration, cutover activities, and user training.
• Work as a trusted advisor to clients, providing functional guidance and SAP best practices.
• Lead small teams or individual workstreams within a larger implementation or support project.
• Assist in issue resolution, documentation, and ongoing system improvements.
• Ensure quality delivery in line with project timelines and Organization standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 8 to 12 years of experience in SAP PS with a strong functional understanding of core processes.
• Experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP PS implementations.• Good integration knowledge with FI/CO, MM, and SD.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and client interaction skills.
• Ability to create functional specifications and work with technical teams on custom developments.
• SAP Certification in Project Systems (PS) or relevant modules.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology or prior experience in Agile/Hybrid project environments.
• Industry experience in engineering, construction, or manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience with basic reporting tools and project analytics is advantageous.

Education:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent field."
