Lead Consultant, AEM Backend Developer

We are currently seeking applications for the position of Lead Consultant, AEM Backend Developer. As a Lead Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to develop clean, functional code that aligns seamlessly with the company's requirements. Your key focus will be on coding, ensuring high performance, and responsiveness to requests. You will collaborate with Engineers using Agile Methodology and possess a comprehensive understanding of business use cases to effectively translate them into strategic solutions. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will identify real-time problems and craft solutions that align with client needs. **Responsibilities:** - Develop features in AEM applications based on user stories and technical designs - Contribute to requirements gathering and analysis activities, such as user stories - Implement custom workflows and email alerts - Create a front-end website with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS expertise, including document and metadata search capabilities and file transfer functionalities - Enhance AEM authoring search to include custom metadata, workflows/emails - Support feature-focused unit and system testing - Assist in performance, security, and load testing activities, including issue remediation **Qualifications we seek in you:** **Minimum Qualifications:** - BE/BTech/MCA **Preferred Qualifications/Skills:** - Experience in AEM back-end development - Proficiency in workflows for publishing, unpublishing, and expiring documents - Hands-on experience in developing AEM processes for web service integration and file transfers - Designing websites with a focus on search functionalities, filters, collections, and indices - Familiarity with server management in cloud ecosystems like Azure or AWS - Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks - Experience with the Java Content Repository (JCR), Git, Jira, or Azure DevOps - Expertise in developing custom components and extending Adobe core components - Knowledge of i18n dictionary, AEM translations, editable templates, and template/component policies - Experience in building scalable web applications with optimal memory management, performance, and scalability - Experience in consulting and working with Project Management teams - Curiosity and a thirst for knowledge Join us as a Lead Consultant based in Bangalore, India, on a full-time basis.
