Requirements - 7+ years of professional experience in software support at an enterprise level - Strong technical expertise as a Lead with a focus on ownership and code quality - BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related IT field - Extensive hands-on experience in enterprise JAVA application and Spring boot development - Proficiency in PCI & PII security standards - Strong familiarity with best practices, IT design, development patterns, and standards - Expertise in various technologies spanning from front-end user interfaces to back-end systems - Proven experience troubleshooting issues across a complex IT ecosystem involving multiple cross-functional teams - Familiarity with Capacitor or similar technologies for developing cross-platform native apps - Knowledge of Cloud technology and IaC (AWS experience preferred, AWS DevOps or AWS Solution Architecture certifications strongly preferred) - Experience with Microservice Architecture and Domain Driven Design - Proficiency in Java build, packaging, dependency management, and storage systems (e.g., GitLab, Maven, Gradle, Artifactory) - Experience in developing and optimizing MS SQL, AWS Aurora PostgreSQL queries - Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Cucumber, Robot, Selenium, JMeter) - Extensive experience in creating alerts, dashboards, canned queries, configuring, and integrating log aggregation (e.g., SumoLogic, Splunk, ELK, syslog, with SumoLogic preferred) - Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Kanban or Scrum) and software development lifecycles - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Job Responsibilities As a member of our team, you will be responsible for: - Designing, developing, and architecting new and existing systems - Participating in enterprise architecture reviews to optimize IT investments aligned with POS systems - Acting as a technical lead for medium to large complex projects or feature enhancements - Collaborating with various teams to identify and prioritize initiatives and features - Evaluating new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance speed, efficiency, and scalability - Monitoring server and application performance using APM tools like NewRelic, CloudWatch, and SumoLogic - Troubleshooting issues, performance tuning, and identifying integration opportunities across systems - Training, guiding, and troubleshooting production issues with the Production Support team - Providing coaching and technical guidance to Software Engineers of different experience levels - Thriving in a fast-paced environment What We Offer At GlobalLogic, we offer: - A culture of caring, inclusivity, and acceptance where people come first - Continuous learning and development opportunities to grow personally and professionally - Meaningful work on projects that have a global impact and contribute to clients" success - Balance and flexibility in work arrangements to integrate work and life effectively - A high-trust organization built on integrity, reliability, and ethical practices Join us at GlobalLogic, a trusted digital engineering partner dedicated to creating intelligent products, platforms, and services that redefine industries and transform businesses.,
