Job Description

As the Lead BizOps Engineer at Mastercard, you will play a crucial role in driving the customer experience strategy of the Open Banking team. You will lead a team of engineers in managing a high-availability infrastructure environment using AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, Linux, CI/CD, and other open-source technologies. Your responsibilities will include supporting daily operations, analyzing ITSM activities, assessing system security, establishing processes and standards, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring operational standards are met. You will be expected to take a holistic approach to problem-solving during production events, provide technical leadership, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with internal groups to resolve issues efficiently. Your role will also involve recommending and implementing plans to resolve vulnerabilities, innovating on new methodologies to improve operations, and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this position should have a BSc/MSc in IT/Comp, BCA, MCA, BE, or BTech, along with 6+ years of experience in Dev, SRE, Automation, and/or system administration. You should have 3+ years of hands-on experience managing complex API-focused environments, preferably in AWS and Kubernetes. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with experience in infrastructure automation, scripting, monitoring tools, and CI/CD frameworks.
