Lead Bi Developer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of

  Power BI dashboards, reports

  , and

  visual analytics solutions

  .
• Collaborate with business users and data teams to gather requirements and translate them into impactful visualizations.
  
• Architect and implement scalable data models using

  Power BI

  and

  Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Dataflows, Direct Lake, etc.)

  .
• Ensure best practices in

  data modeling, DAX coding

  , and

  performance optimization

  .
• Drive the adoption of

  Microsoft Fabric

  across analytics projects, integrating data from various cloud and on-prem sources.
• Lead a team of BI developers, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior team members.
  
• Work closely with stakeholders to

  enable self-service BI

  , training business users and power users where needed.
• Ensure data governance, quality, and security within all Power BI assets.
  
• Stay up to date with new features in Power BI, MS Fabric, and other emerging tools like

  ThoughtSpot

  .
• Coordinate with data engineering and platform teams to ensure smooth data pipeline integrations.
  

Requirements:

• 6+ years

  of experience in

  BI development

  , with

  3+ years specifically in Power BI

  .
• Proven expertise in

  Microsoft Power BI

  : DAX, Power Query (M), data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with

  Microsoft Fabric

  , including

  Lakehouse, Direct Lake, Dataflows Gen2

  , and

  Data Activator

  .
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and modeling from various databases.
  
• Good understanding of

  data architecture

  and

  data warehousing concepts

  .
• Experience leading BI/analytics projects and mentoring teams.
  
• Familiarity with

  ThoughtSpot

  or other modern BI tools is a

  plus

  .
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
