Roles & Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and delivery of Power BI dashboards, reports , and visual analytics solutions . Collaborate with business users and data teams to gather requirements and translate them into impactful visualizations. Architect and implement scalable data models using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Dataflows, Direct Lake, etc.) . Ensure best practices in data modeling, DAX coding , and performance optimization . Drive the adoption of Microsoft Fabric across analytics projects, integrating data from various cloud and on-prem sources. Lead a team of BI developers, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior team members. Work closely with stakeholders to enable self-service BI , training business users and power users where needed. Ensure data governance, quality, and security within all Power BI assets. Stay up to date with new features in Power BI, MS Fabric, and other emerging tools like ThoughtSpot . Coordinate with data engineering and platform teams to ensure smooth data pipeline integrations. Requirements: 6+ years of experience in BI development , with 3+ years specifically in Power BI . Proven expertise in Microsoft Power BI : DAX, Power Query (M), data modeling, and performance tuning. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric , including Lakehouse, Direct Lake, Dataflows Gen2 , and Data Activator . Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and modeling from various databases. Good understanding of data architecture and data warehousing concepts . Experience leading BI/analytics projects and mentoring teams. Familiarity with ThoughtSpot or other modern BI tools is a plus . Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
