Lead Backend Developer

As a Backend Developer cum Tester at Zetexa Global Private Limited, your role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless functioning of critical backend modules with exposed interfaces. Your expertise in Telecom BSS/OSS and proficiency in Python, Django, and other relevant technologies will be instrumental in writing clean, bug-free code and developing automation tests for regression testing. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate closely within and across teams to ensure the seamless functioning of critical backend modules. - Demonstrate strong working knowledge of distributed systems and microservices. - Proficiency in concepts related to message buses, multi-threading, and thread synchronization. - Familiarity with High Availability, Resiliency, Geographic Redundancy, and similar concepts. - Write clean, bug-free code in Python and Django, and be willing to acquire new languages. - Develop and implement automation tests, including unit tests and integration tests. - Work with GitLab or Jenkins for version control and continuous integration. - Set up CI/CD pipelines as required. - Possess 5-8 years of relevant experience. **Must-Have Skills:** - Programming Languages: Python - Web Framework: Django, OpenAPI/Swagger - Database: PostgreSQL, MySQL - Public Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP - Hands-on experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture. - Strong understanding of message buses, multi-threading, and thread synchronization. - Experience in developing automation tests, including unit tests and integration tests. - Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines. - Prior experience with GitLab or Jenkins. **Additional Skills (Desirable):** - Hands-on experience with middleware technologies, including Node.js. - Exposure to software development within the telecom domain. - Understanding of touchpoints related to MVNO, MVNA, and MNO integrations. - Experience with High Availability, Resiliency, and Geographic Redundancy.
