Responsibilities:

• Deploy and maintain applications on Azure services : AKS, Azure VMs, Web Apps, Storage Accounts, Functions App, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Azure Cache for Redis, SQL Databases, MongoDB Atlas.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions to support deployments. Containerize applications with Docker and manage deployments using Helm .
• Manage Azure networking components: Load Balancers, API Gateway, VNets, Firewall rules.
• Ensure secure access and compliance with Entra ID and role-based access control.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure smooth, reliable delivery. Coordinating constructively with other team members and external teams.
• Operating and supporting production environments (including on-call support).
• Ensuring high security posture across the solutions footprint Pairing and collaborating with peers.
• Writing appropriate levels of documentation. Participating in joint design and architecture sessions.

Preferred qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant work experience, including extensive programming experience and mentoring skills.
• Strong, hands-on experience with Azure Cloud (AKS, ACR, managed Postgres and Redis, IAM, Entra ID federalization)
• Advanced knowledge of Helm (chart management, templating, release process). Deep knowledge of GitHub Actions and GitHub API.
• Solid problem-solving ability to investigate system-level issues and identify root causes.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
• Experience outside of the security / devsecops industry a plus
• Linux/Mac OS background: facility with command command-line utilities; familiarity with system administration tools and concepts, troubleshooting, configuration, performance tuning, strong CLI/console skills.
• Experience with designing solutions with hybrid on-prem and Cloud architecture.
• Experience in using / optimizing CI/CD, SLA, SLI, SLOs, and toil reduction to implement solutions with low operational overhead
• Experience integrating Open Source tools and libraries to build complete solutions. An understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, and network protocols, especially TLS and HTTP.
