We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Data Engineer with over 6 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory (ADF) to enable robust ETL/ELT solutions, data integration, and analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Spark.
• Develop and maintain data models, data marts, and data warehouses in Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Write efficient, reusable, and optimized SQL queries for data transformation, cleansing, and validation.
• Implement data lake architectures and integrate structured/unstructured data sources into the Azure ecosystem.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance across all data processes.
• Optimize data storage and processing for performance and cost efficiency.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipelines to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Drive automation and CI/CD for data workflows and deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with at least 3+ years in Azure cloud services.
• Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and data engineering tasks.
• Expertise in SQL (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning).
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark / PySpark.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines and orchestration.
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics (Dedicated SQL Pools, Serverless SQL Pools).
• Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Databricks.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, ARM templates, Terraform).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
