Job Description

The position is responsible to perform variety of accounting functions related to GL accountingMaintain data and records in accordance with accounting standards & principlesExposure to following areas will be preferred in Fixed Assets Process:Good understanding over GL process
Well-versed in Processing journals relates to accruals , prepayments and re classComplete GL Reconciliations related to Fixed Assets sub ledgersMonth End Close activitiesOther Adhoc tasks Essential Functions Perform accruals on day to day basis Follow-up with onshore team to get required details to complete month end taskPerform reconciliations of sub ledgersProficient in maintaining trackers and update changesEnsure that the assigned targets are met in accordance with SLA and timelines Performance parameters Attendance & Schedule AdherenceTimeliness & AccuracyPolicy CompliancesTeam objectives Primary Internal Interactions Manager for the purpose of reporting performance, escalation handling, clarifying concerns, seeking support and monthly evaluation of performanceSr Manager for the purpose of settling issues left unresolved by the ManagerSubject Matter Expert for the purpose of handling process related issues, queries and escalated transactions Primary External Interactions GL Team Client trainers, SMEs and Operations for the purpose of developing and updating training Escalations at the client end for the purpose of seeking clarifications & answering queriesSkills Technical SkillsGood computer navigation skillsStrong PC skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly strong in MS Excel & Word are a critical requirementExposure to SAP Process Specific Skills Strong knowledge of Fixed Assets or Record to Report Process Accounting principles and general accounting conceptsExcellent Communication Skills ( Both Written and Oral) Soft skills (Desired)Self disciplined and result orientedTeam work/ Managing Self / Adaptability Ability to multi taskData gathering ability/ Eye for detailCoaching and Feedback Soft Skills (Minimum)
