Lead Assistant Manager-Data Management and Analytics-Data Ops/Data Analyst

As an experienced data analyst with over 35 years of experience, you will be responsible for supporting Operations or Continuous Improvement teams through data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence. Your key responsibilities will include: - Utilizing strong SQL skills for data extraction, joins, aggregation, window functions, and performance tuning. - Demonstrating advanced Excel skills, including power pivots, Power Query, formulas, and data modeling. - Building dashboards and visualizations in Power BI or Tableau; familiarity with DAX is a plus. - Applying practical experience in data cleansing and standardization techniques for structured and unstructured text, such as regular expressions, tokenization, and basic NLP/entity extraction. - Leveraging one or more scripting/programming languages like Python or R for data manipulation. - Working with ETL/data pipeline tools such as Alteryx, SSIS, Airflow, or Power BI dataflows, and having an understanding of data warehouses or data lakes. - Demonstrating a strong analytical mindset with hypothesis-driven analysis and statistical comfort in basic distributions, trends, and correlation. - Translating technical analysis into concise, business-focused insights and visual narratives effectively. - Engaging with stakeholders by gathering requirements, explaining limitations, and delivering results to non-technical audiences. - Maintaining strong attention to data quality, documentation, and reproducibility in all your work. - Having experience with process mining tools like Celonis, Signavio Process Intelligence, or log/event analysis.
